Embodiment practice is based upon “Hara” a traditional Zen practice encompassing martial arts, meditation, painting, and dance. Embodiment is a primary teaching and guide for healing habitual, self-harming behavior. This course teaches participants how to access and experience their own true power, passion, and wisdom--and to use these empowered resources to heal food cravings, anxiety, pain, fatigue, and fear. The skills taught through our naturopathic services correct, elevate and enhance skillfulness in eating, moving, thinking, and relating. Participants learn from our natural medicine doctors to meet themselves where they are in an authentic, natural, fully engaged embodiment of breathing, posturing, and relaxing.

This Course trains patient-students in the following essential skills:
Experience stillness beyond the thinking mind and learning to reside and operate in this state
Learning to be with the breath
Abiding in relaxed state of alertness
Remaining in presence while speaking and listening
Developing presence while doing any activity: walking, getting dressed, brushing teeth, washing dishes, etc.
Being with pain, food and addictive cravings, accessing healing wisdom in the body
We'll explore these areas of body movement:
Movement of joints and muscles
Rest & Relax
3 minute workouts
Inhabiting the body
Connecting with earth
Cultivate Strength, endurance, flexibility, grace, balance
Presence practice orientation
Personalized practices of being fully present & embodied during any activity
Build strength, flexibility, endurance & alignment
Heal specific joints and areas (knees, low back, etc.)
Posturing & Pacing
Walking, squatting, bending, twisting
Integrate embodiment into your present workout and daily activities
Training to do a personalized full workout and 3 minute workouts
Enjoyment of being/doing
At peace with "what-is"
